Can I use Submarine Pickups with pedals, audio interfaces, or mixers?

Yes – Submarine Pickups produce a standard instrument-level output, so they work directly with pedals and guitar amps just like a regular electric guitar.

When connecting to audio interfaces or mixers, you’ll get the best results by using an instrument (Hi-Z) input. Most modern interfaces and many desks include at least one. If yours only has mic or line inputs, you may need a DI box or preamp for proper impedance matching and signal strength.

Players often use Submarine Pickups to send individual string outputs into separate effect chains, pedals, or mixer channels. This flexibility makes it easy to pan, process, or record strings independently, or blend them together in stereo or mono as needed.
