Are your pickups compensated?
No – Submarine Pickups are not compensated. The poles are set flat, but you can adjust string balance manually for volume and tone.This also means the SubPro and SubSix can be installed either way round – with the output sockets pointing toward the neck or toward the bridge – without affecting performance.
